Job summary

Philips is seeking a Senior Analyst - RTR to own end-to-end accounting processes, ensure IFRS month-end close accuracy, and drive control improvements. You will interact with market stakeholders, prepare judgemental JVs, and manage 3rd party contributors to meet reporting deadlines.

A strong IFRS/controls background and CPA/CMA qualification are preferred. The role requires hybrid office presence in India, with emphasis on continuous improvement and timely financial reporting for regulatory

Qualifications

• CA/CMA/CPA qualification or equivalent with accounting/finance focus.
• Strong knowledge of IFRS and financial close processes.
• Experience with audit controls, SOX, and compliance documentation.

Responsibilities

• Execute and own ICA/Sox controls and documentation for audits.
• Identify control deficiencies and coordinate remediation with business.
• Review JVs, BSARs, and internal controls documentation.
• Prepare judgemental JVs and ensure month-end close compliance with IFRS.
• Coordinate with market stakeholders for alignment and escalation.
• Provide accurate data for fiscal reporting and regulatory requirements.
• Drive process improvements and automation in RTR processes.
• Manage performance of 3rd party colleagues and ensure E2E accounting coverage.
• Support year-end audits with walkthroughs, tests of controls and coordination.

Job Responsibilities

• Execution and take responsibility for ICA/Sox controls to make it effective.
• Take corrective actions and documentation for audit purposes.
• Proactively identify control deficiencies and work with business to mitigate deficiencies / risks.
• Review of JVs, BSARs, Internal Controls related documentation
• Preparation of judgemental JVs
• Verify compliance with accounting standards and regulations based on IFRS Month-close activities
• Liaise with Market stakeholders on the regular activities / alignment/escalation management
• Provide accurate & timely data for fiscal reporting and other requirements.
• Justification of end balance and documentation of aged / manual items
• Identifies opportunities for process improvement and automation
• Responsible for managing the performance of 3rd party colleagues
• E2E responsible for all accounting processes
• Support year-end audits including, process walkthrough, test of controls, documentation, coordination.
• Ensures all business events and transactions are properly recorded and justified
• Responsible for Continuous Improvement projects and drive standardization as per goals.
• Provide commentary for the variances in Trial Statement Review & lead TSR calls based on role
• Achieving RTR Goals & Key performance Indicators

Minimum required Education

CA/CMA Qualified Freshers/ Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration.

Minimum required Experience

2 years of experience such as Accounting, Finance or equivalent.
