Job summary

Qualifications

• MBA/BE with strong software engineering background.
• Proficient in Advanced SQL (T-SQL, MySQL, PL/SQL).
• Ability to fine tune complex queries and read execution plans.
• Knowledge of programming languages (e.g., JS or Python).
• Working knowledge of Excel is mandatory.
• Experience in Financial Services, Banking, Investment Banking or similar industries preferred.
• Willingness to evolve into Data Engineering / BI Solutions role.

Responsibilities

• Understanding client requirements actively on calls along with business lead and convert them to actionable steps.
• Ability to absorb requirements shared in documentation – be it word or excel.
• Get involved with business for implementation of new reports.
• Review and enhance existing reports by fine tuning execution plans for effective report delivery.
• Gain understanding of current database and reporting architecture.
• Adopt best practices to ensure replication and delivery at scale.
• Conform to internal TAT standards and exemplify collective ownership with an eye for detail.
• Mostly important – ability to learn and evolve within the organization as a business intelligence solution & implementation associate.

• Familiarity with any programming language is a plus, be it JS or Python.
• Some evidence of working with excel is mandatory.
• Existing experience in Financial Services, Banking, Investment Banking and alike industries.
• Interest to evolve into Data Engineering, Business Intelligence Solutions role.
