• 2+ years of experience in GL, R2R, AR, and AP functions.
• Strong hands-on experience in month-end and year-end closings.
• Sound knowledge of Indian statutory compliances (GST, TDS).
• Experience with trial balance review, financial reporting, and ledger reconciliations.
• Experience coordinating statutory/internal audits.

Responsibilities

• Own and execute month-end close activities, including accruals and journal entries.

Role & responsibilities

• Own and execute all month-end close activities, including accruals, provisions, manual journal entries, and accounting adjustments.
• Manage end-to-end Accounts Receivable (AR) processes, including invoicing, collections, and related adjustment entries.
• Take overall responsibility for Accounts Payable (AP) operations, including payment batch processing and ensuring timely vendor payments.
• Perform and maintain accurate reconciliations of statutory dues, including TDS, GST, and other regulatory obligations.
• Ensure timely and accurate month-end closure in strict adherence to SLA requirements and checklist deliverables.
• Review, validate, and ensure the accuracy and completeness of the Trial Balance.
• Provide comprehensive audit support, coordinate with internal and external auditors, and ensure timely closure of audit requirements.

Preferred candidate profile

• 2+ years of experience in General Ledger (GL), Record-to-Report (R2R), Accounts Receivable (AR), and Accounts Payable (AP) functions.
• Strong hands-on experience in month-end and year-end closing activities, including accruals, provisions, reconciliations, and journal entries.
• Sound knowledge of Indian statutory compliances, including GST, TDS, and related regulatory requirements.
• Proven experience in Trial Balance review, financial reporting, and ledger reconciliations.
• Experience in supporting statutory and internal audits, with the ability to effectively coordinate with auditors and stakeholders.
