Job summary

AB InBev GCC India is seeking a Senior Analyst - CAPEX to manage data related to capital expenditure, ensure timely and qualitative completion of CAPEX tasks, and support budgeting, forecasting, and LE processes across functions.

The role involves creating investment approvals, validating budgets, coordinating with Finance and Anaplan, and driving process improvements to enhance forecast accuracy. The incumbent will work under the FP&A umbrella to support strategic capex decisions.

Qualifications

• University degree in business/commercial fields; CA or related qualifications add advantage.
• Experience in Account to Report, Capex Budget & Forecasting, Fixed Assets, Reporting, Audit, and General accounting; MS Office mandatory; SAP, Anaplan and Cognos helpful.

Responsibilities

• Create RIA (Request for Investment Approval) for approvals in Capex tool.
• Create RDA (Request for Divestment Approval) for approvals in Capex tool.
• Budget/Requested value validation for RIAs in tool.
• Review project information before moving tasks to 1st approver.
• 1YP Capex Budget creation in Anaplan.
• 1YP early approval projects creation in Capex tool.
• Assist project owners with capex values, fund transfers and new projects for unbudgeted RIAs.
• Coordinate with FA team for IO creation, budget allocation and ERP corrections.
• Capex tool vs ERP reconciliation and Year End CAPEX closing activities.

Job Title: Senior Analyst - CAPEX

Reporting to: FP&A Manager

PURPOSE OF ROLE

The role is primarily to ensure processing of all the data relating to Capex. To ensure timely& qualitative completion of Capex related tasks, performing CF CAPEX MEC, LE and Budgeting, various standardization, improvisation, and automation of activities. The role also includes expanding of scope of the team along with meeting their KPI/SLA and achieving the target.

KEY TASKS AND ACCOUNTABILITIES

Capex - Responsible for following deliverable:

• Create RIA (Request for Investment Approval) for Approvals in Capex tool
• Create RDA (Request for Divestment Approval) for Approvals in Capex tool
• Budget/Requested value validation for submission RIAs in tool
• Review project information before moving the task from GCC Capex team to 1st approver
• 1YP Capex Budget creation in Anaplan
• 1YP early approval projects creation in Capex tool
• Assisting project owners/package owners to adjust capex values, fund transfers, other information and allocating new projects for all unbudgeted RIAs
• Assisting project owners in RIA/RDA creation or submission
• DAG changes (Approver changes in Capex tool)
• Fund transfers validation between projects and track all transfers in switch file for MEC
• New divestment projects information for MEC
• Non-ERP actuals collection (Divestment, Germany Commercials and DGO) and validate with Cognos reported numbers
• LE collection for respective functions (Supply, Consumer, Commercial, IT, Admin and Divestment)
• Upload, track, review LE process in Anaplan for MEC
• Schedule monthly meetings with package owners to align on LE numbers
• People cost capitalization process (collecting data, deep dive and creating tickets/MJEs)
• Monthly LE vs Actuals, Last Year vs Actual, Budget vs Actuals review
• Ad hoc activities from business
• Process Improvements to improve forecast accuracy of Capex
• Co-ordinate with FA team for IO creation, budget allocation and budget corrections in ERP
• Perform Year End CAPEX Closing activities
• Capex Tool vs ERP Reconciliation

QUALIFICATIONS, EXPERIENCE, SKILLS

Education

• University degree in B. Com, BA (H), M. Com; Masters in Eco, MBA; CA (Inter)/CA or related areas

Experience

• Account to Report; Capex Budget & Forecasting, Fixed Assets; Reporting; Audit; General accounting, MS Office (Mandatory); SAP, Anaplan and Cognos will add advantage.
