Job summary

WSP is seeking an experienced Airport Planning professional to lead technical delivery on international projects in India. The role involves coordinating master plans, capacity analyses, and the development of layouts for airfields, terminals, and landside facilities, using AutoCAD.

You will manage workstreams, forecast planning, and contribute to bids, while mentoring junior staff and guiding project teams toward successful outcomes.

Qualifications

• Lead the technical delivery of airport planning and advisory work for international projects.
• Coordinate, supervise and deliver airport planning and capacity solutions as part of master plans and development projects.
• Prepare airport master plans, terminal layouts or airfield layouts using AutoCAD.
• Provide management, training and guidance to early career professionals in the team.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to and/or lead the technical delivery of Airport planning & advisory work for a wide range of international projects.
• Coordinate, supervise and deliver airport planning & capacity solutions as part of airport master plans and development projects, covering airfield, apron, terminal, landside, & ancillary facilities;
• Undertake analytical studies relating to capacity-demand analysis;
• Prepare airport master plan, terminal layout or airfield layout drawings in AutoCAD;
• Be responsible for the successful management of airport planning tasks, workstreams or small to medium-sized projects;
• Undertake Business / Financial Planning and forecasting tasks where necessary;
• Contribute to the preparation of bids and proposals for potential new projects; and
• Provide management, technical training and professional guidance and mentorship to the early career professionals within the team.
