Job summary

Alcon Laboratories India Pvt Ltd is seeking a Senior AI Engineer to lead architecture, design, and development of enterprise-scale Agentic AI solutions across Voice, Email, Chat, and Digital channels. You will build intelligent AI agents and autonomous workflows on AWS and Azure that optimize customer and business operations through automation and AI-driven decisions.

Sr AI Engineer, Agentic AI Solutions

Summary of Position: Lead the architecture, design, and development of enterprise-scale Agentic AI solutions across Voice, Email, Chat, and Digital channels. Build intelligent AI agents and autonomous workflows on AWS and Azure that transform customer and business operations through automation, orchestration, and AI-driven decision making.

Key Responsibilities

• Architect and develop Agentic AI solutions, frameworks, and reusable AI components.
• Design and deploy AI agents for Agentic Voice, Agentic Email, Agent Assist, Commercial and Customer Operations solutions.
• Build cloud-native AI solutions using AWS and Azure technologies.
• Implement LLMs, RAG, agent orchestration, tool calling, memory, and multi-agent workflows.
• Integrate AI agents with enterprise platforms such as Salesforce, SAP, Genesys, ServiceNow, and data platforms.
• Establish AI governance, observability, monitoring, security, and responsible AI practices.
• Lead technical design reviews and mentor AI engineering teams.

Key Requirements / Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, AI, Engineering, or related field.
• 7+ years of software engineering experience.
• 3+ years of hands-on experience building GenAI and Agentic AI solutions.
• Strong expertise in Python and cloud platforms (AWS and/or Azure).
• Experience with: Amazon Bedrock, Azure OpenAI, Azure AI Search LangChain, LangGraph, Semantic Kernel, AutoGen, or similar frameworks APIs, microservices, and enterprise integrations.
• Vector databases, RAG, and AI evaluation frameworks.
• CI/CD, DevOps, and cloud-native architecture.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Voice AI, Contact Center AI, and Conversational AI.
• Knowledge of Genesys, Observe.AI, Salesforce, and SAP ecosystems.
• AWS and/or Azure AI certifications preferred.

Work hours: 1 PM to 10 PM IST
