Spino Technologies invites a Senior AI Engineer to join our AI/ML team in Pune. You will champion the design, implementation, and rigorous validation of AI-powered systems across product lines, ensuring reliability and performance.

The role demands 9+ years in software quality engineering or related AI domains, with hands-on Python/SQL/APIs and strong test automation experience. You will work with LLMs, Generative AI, and prompt-based architectures in production-grade environments.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of experience in software quality engineering, data quality, test automation, analytics engineering, AI/ML engineering, or related field.
• Experience with Python, SQL, APIs, and automated testing.
• Hands-on understanding of LLMs, Generative AI, RAG, embeddings, vector search, and prompt-based applications.
• Ability to independently verify whether an AI-generated answer is correct using underlying data and evidence.
• Strong understanding of test design, regression testing, edge cases, failure analysis, and quality metrics.
• Experience evaluating data-driven or AI-powered applications in production environments.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to challenge assumptions and identify subtle response errors.

Required Qualifications

• Strong experience with Python, SQL, APIs, and automated testing.

• Experience with LLM evaluation frameworks such as DeepEval, RAGAS, LangSmith, Arize Phoenix, TruLens, or similar tools.
• Ability to independently verify whether an AI-generated answer is correct using underlying data and evidence.
• Strong understanding of test design, regression testing, edge cases, failure analysis, and quality metrics.
• Experience evaluating data-driven or AI-powered applications in production environments.

Nice to Have

• Experience with agentic AI, tool-calling systems, or multi-step AI workflows.
• Familiarity with semantic technologies, or graph databases.
