Job summary

ASSA ABLOY Global Solutions in Chennai (India) seeks an experienced software professional to design, develop, and implement AEM components and templates. You will work with Node, NPM, Webpack and collaborate with Marketing and Design teams in a globally distributed scrum.

The ideal candidate has 5–8 years of relevant experience, strong HTML5/CSS3 skills, and adheres to accessibility, performance, and SEO best practices while following Agile methodologies.

Qualifications

• 5–8 years of relevant experience.
• Expertise in AEM components using Sightly and Clientlibs.
• Strong knowledge of HTML5 and CSS3 (Less/Sass/Stylus a plus).
• Experience with Node, NPM, Webpack and design of templates.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and execute AEM components and templates.
• Adhere to software development standards and code quality.
• Collaborate with GitHub/Jira workflows in a globally distributed scrum.
• Ensure accessibility, performance, and technical SEO best practices in code.
• Collaborate with Communications/Marketing and Design teams.
• Demonstrate adaptability and goal orientation in a fast-paced environment.
• Implement responsive and mobile-first design principles.

Job description

Experience criteria: 5 to 8 years of relevant experience.

Skill set requirement:

• AEM (Components Using Sightly, Clientlibs).
• Node, NPM, Webpack.

Technical experience:

• Design, develop, and execute components, templates in AEM.
• In depth knowledge of HTML5, CSS3 (Less, Sass, Stylus is a plus)
• Good knowledge of Node, NPM, webpack.
• Design Specification Development Unit Testing.
• Adherence to Software development standards
• Experience with GitHub or similar repository management tools and Jira.
• Understanding of accessibility, performance, and technical SEO best practices and ability to implement these standards in code.
• Strong problem-solving.
• Experience working in a globally dispersed scrum team.
• Demonstrated experience in Agile methodologies.
• Collaboration and engagement skills.
• Experience working with Communications and/or Marketing teams and/or Design Team.
• Demonstrated adaptability, goal orientated and innovative individual.
• A firm grasp of responsive design and mobile application design.
