Job summary

ASSA ABLOY Group is seeking a Senior Adobe Commerce Developer in Chennai to design, customize, and maintain e-commerce solutions. You will work with our design and development teams to deliver scalable platforms, integrating with AEM, ETL tools, and third-party services.

The role requires 5–8 years of relevant experience and deep knowledge of back-end PHP/MySQL with front-end HTML/CSS/JS and React or Angular. Experience with SSO and comprehensive API integrations is essential for success.

Qualifications

• 5 to 8 years of relevant experience.
• Proficiency in PHP and MySQL.
• Strong front-end knowledge: HTML, CSS, JavaScript with React or Angular.
• Experience with API integrations and third-party services.
• Experience with PIM integrations using ETL tools.
• Experience with headless/Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) integration.
• Adobe Certified Expert – Adobe Commerce Developer is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Develop and customize Adobe Commerce console with custom modules, themes, and extensions.
• Integrate content management based websites (preferably AEM) with Commerce; build integrations.
• Implement API integrations with third-party services like payment gateways and shipping providers.
• Implement API integrations with PIM tools to ingest product data.
• Implement login functionality via SSO and manage sessions.
• Troubleshoot issues, maintain and support platforms.
• Participate in code reviews and uphold coding standards.
• Stay updated with industry trends to improve e-commerce solutions.

As a Senior Adobe Commerce Developer, you will be responsible for developing, customizing, and maintaining e-commerce solutions using Adobe Commerce integrated with other applications build on AEM, Inhouse applications, ETL tools etc… You will work closely with our design and development teams to deliver high-quality, scalable, and user-friendly e-commerce platforms.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and customize Adobe Commerce console as per business needs, including custom modules, themes, and extensions

• Experience on Implementing API integrations with third-party services such as payment gateways and shipping providers.

• Experience on Implementing login functionality via integrating with SSO layer and session management
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues, providing ongoing maintenance and support.
