Job summary

amIT Global Solutions Sdn Bhd is seeking an experienced AEM Technical Lead to join its UI Engineering team in India. You will design, develop, and maintain enterprise web applications using AEM, building custom components, templates, workflows, and integrations.

The role requires strong front-end skills, experience with Sling Models, HTL, OSGi, and REST APIs, and the ability to mentor junior engineers while guiding technical decisions and code reviews.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of software development experience with AEM 6.x/6.5.
• Hands-on experience with AEM components, templates, editable templates, Sling Models, Apache Sling, OSGi, JCR, CRXDE.
• HTL (Sightly), Touch UI, Granite UI; AEM Workflows, Content Fragments, Experience Fragments.
• Dispatcher, DAM, AEM Assets, AEM Sites; strong HTML5, CSS3, Java, ES6, jQuery, AJAX.
• Experience integrating AEM with backend Java services and REST APIs; familiarity with Webpack, Gulp, Grunt.
• Strong debugging, problem-solving, and collaboration skills; ability to mentor juniors.

• Collaborate with backend, DevOps, and cross-functional teams throughout SDLC.
• Troubleshoot production issues and provide technical guidance to teams.

The ideal candidate will have extensive hands-on experience in Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) development, strong front-end development expertise, and the ability to lead the design and implementation of scalable, enterprise-grade web applications.

• Work with Sling Models, HTL (Sightly), OSGi, JCR, Dispatcher, and AEM Core Components.
• Ensure code quality, maintainability, scalability, and performance optimization.

Required Skills

• Strong understanding of web accessibility, performance optimization, and best coding practices.
• Excellent debugging, analytical, and problem-solving skills.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with AEM Headless CMS and SPA Editor.
• Hands-on experience with React or Angular integrated with AEM.
• Knowledge of Git, JIRA, Jenkins, and CI/CD pipelines.
• Familiarity with Adobe Experience Cloud solutions.
• Experience leading development teams and mentoring engineers.
