Role Description The Senior Admissions Counselor is a full-time, on-site role based in the Mumbai Metropolitan Region. In this position, the counselor guides prospective candidates through the admissions process for partner institutions or programs, from initial inquiry to enrollment. Daily responsibilities include conducting consultations, explaining program offerings, evaluating candidate profiles, and recommending suitable options. The role involves managing application pipelines, following up with leads, maintaining accurate records in admissions systems, and collaborating with internal teams to ensure a smooth candidate experience. The counselor also participates in outreach activities, provides high-quality customer service, and contributes insights to improve admissions strategies and processes.

Qualifications

• Strong Interpersonal Communication and general Communication skills to engage effectively with diverse candidates and stakeholders.
• Proven Customer Service abilities to deliver a professional, supportive, and responsive admissions experience.
• Experience in Sales or enrollment-focused roles, including lead conversion and meeting admissions or recruitment targets.
• Background or understanding in Education, particularly regarding academic programs, admissions criteria, and student counseling.
• Relevant bachelor's degree in any discipline; a degree in Counseling, Education, Business, or related fields is preferred.
• Ability to work on-site in the Mumbai Metropolitan Region and manage multiple cases and deadlines with attention to detail.
• Proficiency with common office software and admissions or CRM tools, along with strong organizational and documentation skills.
• Prior experience in admissions, academic counseling, or recruitment will be an advantage.
