upGrad in Bengaluru is seeking a Senior Admission Counsellor - Study Abroad to guide students and parents through overseas education journeys with face-to-face counselling sessions. You will understand aspirations, recommend universities and courses across destinations (USA, UK, Germany, Canada, Australia), and provide end-to-end support from enquiry to admission.

The role focuses on counselling, country and program guidance, application support, and visa processes, with a target to convert

Qualifications

• Minimum 1-2 years of admissions/counselling or education sales experience.
• Study abroad knowledge is preferred but training will be provided.
• Strong communication and influencing skills to engage effectively with students and parents.
• Demonstrated a track record of achieving counselling/enrollment targets.
• Minimum education qualification: Graduation in any stream; postgraduate preferred.

As a Senior Admission Counsellor - Study Abroad, you will play a key role in guiding students and parents through their overseas education journey via face-to-face counselling sessions. Requirements:

• Study abroad knowledge is preferred but not mandatory; structured training will be provided.
• Strong communication and influencing skills to engage effectively with students and parents.
• Demonstrated a track record of achieving counselling/enrollment targets.
• Minimum education qualification: Graduation in any stream; postgraduate preferred.
