Job summary

Snap Inc. is seeking a Senior Accounts Receivable Analyst to join the Finance Team. The role focuses on timely invoicing, accurate Oracle coding, and collaborating with Solutions, Operations, and Accounting to scale billing processes.

You will investigate disputes, apply payments promptly, and help meet monthly collection goals. Ideal candidates have AR experience in advertising or media, strong Excel skills, and the ability to work with stakeholders at all levels in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• English language essential.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with advanced Excel.
• Accounts Receivable experience in the advertising or media/entertainment industry.
• International Accounts Receivable experience preferred.
• Experience collaborating with internal and external stakeholders at all levels.
• Detail-oriented with a high sense of urgency.
• Proactive, self-directed approach with the ability to multi-task.

Responsibilities

• Ensure invoicing is carried out timely, correctly, and accurately.
• Ensure Oracle notes and coding are up to date and adhere to global standards.
• Collaborate with Business Solutions, Operations, and Accounting on billing efficiencies and scale.
• Investigate, document, and resolve global billing disputes.
• Partner with cash application to apply customer payments promptly.
• Conduct monthly customer account reconciliations as needed.
• Contact customers to clarify invoicing data as required.
• Provide support and perform ad hoc analyses and projects.
• Meet departmental monthly collection goals.

We’re looking for a Senior Accounts Receivable Analyst to join the Finance Team!

What you'll do:

• Focus on ensuring Snapchat's invoicing efforts are carried out timely, correctly, and accurately
• Ensure Oracle notes and coding are up accurate and adhere to global standards
• You’ll collaborate with the Business Solutions, Operations, and Accounting teams on creating efficiencies and improving our billing and collections processes as we continue to scale our products.
• Investigate, document and work on global billing resolutions (disputes)
• Partner with the cash application team to ensure all incoming customer payments are applied in a timely manner
• Monthly customer account reconciliations (if required) to verify all open balances
• Reach out to customers where needed to clarify current data held for invoicing
• Provide support and prepare other ad hoc analyses and projects as needed
• Focus on meeting departmental monthly collection goals

Knowledge, skills, and abilities:

• English language essential
• Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills and suo.ng Excel skills required
• Accounts Receivable experience in the advertising or media/entertainment industry
• International Accounts Receivable experience preferred
• Experience collaborating with internal and external stakeholders at all levels of a company
• Detail-oriented with a high sense of urgency
• Proactive, self-directed approach with the ability to multi-task.
