Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Senior Executive Accountant to join our finance team. The ideal candidate will have 4-5 years of experience in core accounting functions, Internal Control and Inventory Management. This role requires a detail-oriented professional who can manage complex accounting tasks, Internal Control, ensure compliance with financial regulations, and provide valuable insights to support business decision-making.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Core Accounting
    • Oversee and manage daily accounting operations including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger entries.
    • Reconcile bank statements, credit card statements, and other financial documents.
    • Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and reports.
    • Monitor and ensure accuracy of financial transactions and records.
  2. Financial Analysis and Reporting
    • Conduct financial analysis to identify trends, variances, and areas for improvement.
    • Prepare detailed financial reports and presentations for management review.
    • Provide recommendations based on financial data to support strategic decision-making.
  3. Compliance and Internal Controls
    • Ensure adherence to company policies, accounting standards, and regulatory requirements.
    • Develop and implement internal controls to safeguard company assets and ensure accuracy of financial reporting.
    • Participate in internal and external audits and provide necessary documentation and explanations.
  4. Team Collaboration and Support
    • Mentor and train junior accounting staff, providing guidance and support as needed.
    • Collaborate with other departments to gather financial information and resolve discrepancies.
    • Assist in special projects and ad-hoc tasks as required by management.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. Any Post Graduation or Professional certification (e.g., CPA, CA) is preferred.
  • 4-5 years of progressive accounting experience with a strong understanding of core accounting principles.
  • Proficient in accounting software (e.g., SAP, Tally) and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
  • Strong analytical skills with attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills with the ability to handle multiple priorities.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with various stakeholders.
  • Proficiency in Companies Act and Commercial Law will be added advantage.
