Job summary

Veradigm India Private Limited - Pune is seeking a Sr. Accounting Specialist to strengthen our general ledger, ensure accuracy, support month-end and year-end closes, and enforce accounting policies.

The role requires 4-6 years in GL/Revenue/COGS, experience with Workday, and strong MS Office skills. Familiarity with SOX in an MNC is preferred. This position offers a hybrid work arrangement in Pune with a focus on precision and process discipline.

Qualifications

• 4-6 years of accounting experience in GL/Revenue/COGS.
• Exposure to internal controls and SOX environment in MNC.
• Experience with Workday and MS-Office.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and post journal entries and General Ledger reconciliations.
• Prepaid Amortizations related to COGS.
• Coordinate and follow through with the month-end closing schedule.
• Provide financial reports to management and answers inquiries as necessary.
• Complete special projects as assigned.
• Interact with internal and external auditors as necessary to complete audits.
• Maintain knowledge of GAAP, SEC requirements, and other accounting regulations.

Position Summary

We are seeking a detail-oriented Sr. Accounting Specialist who will be part of our general ledger function. The primary responsibility of this role will be to ensure accounting accuracy, support month‑end and year‑end close activities and ensure compliance with accounting policies and procedures. The ideal candidate shall possess strong knowledge of accounting, excellent organizational skills and experience working with ERP systems.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and post journal entries and General Ledger reconciliations
• Prepaid Amortizations related to COGS
• Coordinate and follow through with the month‑end closing schedule
• Provide financial reports to management and answers inquiries as necessary
• Complete special projects as assigned
• Interact with internal and external auditors as necessary to complete audits
• Maintain knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles, SEC requirements, and other relevant accounting regulations

Experience

• 4-6 years of experience required in accounting role with experience in GL/Revenue/COGS
• Exposure to internal controls and SOX environment in MNC
• Experience with Workday
• Sound knowledge of MS-Office
