Job summary

Veradigm is seeking a Sr. Accounting Specialist to join the general ledger function in India. The role focuses on ensuring accounting accuracy, supporting month-end close, and maintaining compliance with policies and procedures.

The ideal candidate has 4–6 years in accounting (GL/Revenue/COGS), exposure to SOX controls, and proficiency in MS Office and Workday. This role offers a hybrid work environment with opportunities to grow within a multinational company.

Qualifications

• 4–6 years of accounting experience in GL/Revenue/COGS.
• Exposure to internal controls and SOX in a multinational company.
• Proficient with MS Office and ERP systems.
• Knowledge of Deferred Revenue and Order to cash processes.
• Experience with Workday.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and post journal entries and GL reconciliations.
• Prepaid Amortizations related to COGS (from responsibilities).
• Coordinate and follow through with the month-end closing schedule.
• Provide financial reports to management and answer inquiries.
• Complete special projects as assigned.
• Interact with auditors to complete audits.
• Maintain awareness of GAAP, SEC requirements, and related regulations.

Position Summary

We are seeking a detail-oriented Sr. Accounting Specialist who will be part of our general ledger function. The primary responsibility of this role will be to ensure accounting accuracy, support month-end and year-end close activities and ensure compliance with accounting policies and procedures. The ideal candidate shall possess strong knowledge of accounting, excellent organizational skills and experience working with ERP systems

Responsibilities

• Prepare and post journal entries and General Ledger reconciliations
• Prepaid Amortizations related to COGS
• Coordinate and follow through with the month-end closing schedule
• Provide financial reports to management and answers inquiries as necessary
• Complete special projects as assigned
• Interact with internal and external auditors as necessary to complete audits
• Maintain knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles, SEC requirements, and other relevant accounting regulations

Experience

• 4-6 years of experience required in accounting role with experience in GL/Revenue/COGS
• Exposure to internal controls and SOX environment in MNC
• Experience with Workday
• Sound knowledge of MS-Office
