Job summary

Seligo Consultants in India is seeking an Account Manager Accounts & Taxation to manage day-to-day accounting, GST, TDS, TCS, and statutory compliance.

You will prepare financial statements, assist audits, perform reconciliations, and coordinate with clients, vendors, auditors. Requires B.Com/M.Com and hands-on GST filings, Tally ERP/Prime, advanced Excel, and strong banking reconciliation skills.

Qualifications

• Must have B.Com or M.Com in Accounting/Finance.
• Experience with GST, TDS, TCS and statutory compliance required.
• Experience with GST returns filings and reconciling ITC preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day accounting operations and maintain books.
• File GST returns including GSTR-1, GSTR-3B, GSTR-9 and GSTR-9C.
• Perform GSTR-2B reconciliation and ITC discrepancy resolution.
• Handle TDS, TCS calculations, filings, and reconciliations.
• Record entries and perform bank, vendor, customer reconciliations.
• Assist in financial statements and audits, provide documentation.
• Coordinate with clients, vendors, auditors, and internal teams.

Job description

Position: Account Manager Accounts & Taxation

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage day-to-day accounting operations and maintain books of accounts.
• Handle GST return filing, including GSTR-1 and GSTR-3B.
• Perform GSTR-2B reconciliation and resolve input tax credit (ITC) discrepancies.
• Handle annual GST returns, including GSTR-9 and GSTR-9C, wherever applicable.
• Manage TDS calculations, deductions, payments, quarterly return filing, and reconciliation.
• Handle TCS calculations, collections, deposits, return filing, and reconciliation, wherever applicable.
• Record and verify purchase, sales, expense, journal, and adjustment entries.
• Perform bank reconciliation, vendor reconciliation, customer reconciliation, and ledger scrutiny.
• Manage accounts payable, accounts receivable, invoicing, and payment follow-ups.
• Ensure timely GST, TDS, TCS, and other applicable statutory compliances.
• Assist in the preparation of financial statements, including the Profit & Loss Account and Balance Sheet.
• Support internal and statutory audits and provide required documentation.
• Maintain proper accounting records, tax registers, and supporting documents.
• Coordinate with clients, vendors, auditors, and internal departments for accounting and taxation matters.
• Monitor compliance deadlines and ensure accurate filing and timely payment of statutory dues.
