Job summary

SBU & CO in Mumbai is seeking a taxation and accounting professional with 2-4 years of hands-on experience to manage TDS/GST compliance, Form 15CA/15CB filings, and PTRC/PTEC obligations. You will maintain basic books, verify entries, and support audits while ensuring statutory timelines are met.

The role requires B.Com/M.Com, proficiency in Tally ERP/Prime and MS Excel, high attention to detail, and the ability to coordinate with internal teams and clients to ensure accurate statutory filings.

Qualifications

• 2–4 years of relevant experience in taxation and accounting.
• Hands-on with TDS & GST return filing and Form 15CA/15CB.
• Experience with PTRC & PTEC compliance.
• Proficient in Tally ERP/Prime and MS Excel.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and file TDS Returns accurately within statutory timelines.
• Prepare GST workings, reconcile books with GSTR-2B, and file GST Returns in compliance with applicable GST laws.
• Handle Form 15CA/15CB filing & related compliance for foreign remittances.
• Manage certification-related assignments & coordinate with internal teams and external Clients.
• Maintain basic accounting records and support day-to-day accounting activities.
• Process and verify accounting entries, reconciliations, and payment-related transactions.
• Ensure timely payment and filing of PTRC and PTEC compliances.
• Assist in statutory audits, tax assessments, and compliance reviews.
• Maintain proper documentation and records for all statutory filings and financial transactions.
• Stay updated with changes in taxation & statutory regulations.
