Job summary

Enlight Metals Pune is seeking an experienced Senior Accountant to manage end-to-end accounting and finance operations for multiple group companies. You will own books, GST/TDS filings, monthly closings, and ensure audit-ready records with minimal supervision.

You will work with management to deliver accurate financial reporting, MIS, and banking activities, while coordinating with auditors and tax consultants to maintain compliance and strong internal controls.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• Minimum 4+ years of accounting experience across multiple companies.
• Comprehensive GST, TDS, TCS, PT, advance tax knowledge and compliance.
• Exceptional organizational and time management skills.
• Strong communication and analytical abilities.

Responsibilities

• Own complete accounting for multiple group companies and ensure accuracy and timeliness.
• Maintain books of accounts and manage general ledger with regular reconciliations.
• Perform month, quarter, and year-end closures and MIS reporting.
• File GST, TDS, TCS, and other statutory returns and filings.
• Coordinate with auditors, tax consultants, and company secretary for statutory compliance and ROC/MCA filings.
• Manage banking activities, cash flow monitoring, and banking reconciliations.
• Ensure audit readiness and implement robust internal controls.

Role & responsibilities

We are looking for an experienced Senior Accountant who can independently manage the complete accounting and finance operations for multiple group companies. This role requires someone who can take ownership of accounting, taxation, statutory compliance, financial reporting, banking, and audits with minimal supervision. You will work closely with the management team to ensure the company's financial records are accurate, compliant, and always audit-ready. This is a hands on role for someone who enjoys taking ownership and building efficient financial processes.

Accounting & Financial Operations

Own the complete accounting function for multiple group companies and ensure financial records are accurate, complete, and up to date. You will be responsible for:

• Maintaining complete books of accounts in Zoho Books.
• Recording and verifying all financial transactions, including sales, purchases, expenses, payments, receipts, and journal entries.
• Managing the General Ledger and ensuring all accounts are reconciled regularly.
• Performing monthly, quarterly, and annual book closures.

Taxation & Statutory Compliance

Take complete ownership of statutory compliance and ensure all filings and tax obligations are completed accurately and within prescribed timelines. You will be responsible for:

• Preparing and filing monthly, quarterly, and annual GST returns.
• Calculating, deducting, depositing, and filing TDS returns.
• Managing TCS, Professional Tax, Advance Tax, and other applicable statutory compliances.
• Reconciling GST data with books and government portals.
• Coordinating with tax consultants for Income Tax assessments and notices.
• Ensuring timely ROC and MCA filings in coordination with the Company Secretary.

Financial Reporting & Management Information (MIS)

Provide management with timely and accurate financial information to support business decisions.

You will be responsible for preparing:

• Monthly MIS reports.
• Profit & Loss Statements.
• Balance Sheets.
• Cash Flow Reports.
• Customer Outstanding Reports.
• Vendor Payable Reports.
• Bank Position Reports.
• GST Summary Reports.

Banking&TreasuryManagement

Manageday-to-daybankingactivitiesandmaintaineffectivecontrolovercashflow.

Youwillberesponsiblefor:

• Monitoringdailycashinflowsandoutflows.
• Performingbankreconciliations.
• Coordinatingwithbanksforaccountoperationsanddocumentation

AuditCoordination&FinancialControls

Ensurethecompanyremainsaudit-readythroughouttheyearbymaintainingaccurate recordsandstrongfinancialcontrols.

• Preparingschedules,reconciliations,andsupportingdocumentsrequiredduring audits.

Preferred candidate profile

• Master's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
