Job summary

Insight Advisors Private Limited is seeking a detail-oriented Senior Accountant to independently manage accounting, payroll, taxation, and statutory compliances for multiple clients and entities in a fast-paced environment.

The candidate should be proficient with Zoho Books, Tally Prime, and related statutory requirements across India, with strong Excel and communication skills to ensure accurate financial reporting and client satisfaction.

Qualifications

• 3–6 years of accounting and compliance experience.
• Hands-on experience with Zoho Books and Tally Prime.
• Proven GST, TDS, PF, ESI, PT, payroll, and labour law compliance experience.
• Experience in finalization of accounts and audit support.
• Strong Excel skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to manage multiple clients/entities independently.

Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end accounting in Zoho Books and Tally Prime.
• Finalize books of accounts and prepare financial statements.
• Handle GST, TDS, PF, ESI, PT, Labour Welfare Fund, and other statutory compliances across India.
• Prepare and file statutory returns, ensure timely payments, and perform reconciliations.
• Oversee Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), payroll, and bank reconciliations.
• Perform monthly, quarterly, and annual book closures.
• Prepare MIS, cash flow, and management reports.
• Coordinate with auditors, bankers, tax consultants, and regulatory authorities.
• Assist clients with accounting, taxation, and compliance-related queries.
• Ensure compliance with all regulatory and tax requirements.
• Identify opportunities to improve accounting processes, internal controls, and operational efficiency.

About the Role

We are looking for a detail-oriented and proactive Senior Accountant who can independently manage accounting, payroll, taxation, and statutory compliances for multiple clients/entities. The ideal candidate should be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and take complete ownership of finance operations.

What We Are Looking For

• B.Com / M.Com / CA Inter.
• 3–6 years of accounting and compliance experience.
• Strong hands-on experience with Zoho Books and Tally Prime .
• Proven experience independently handling GST, TDS, PF, ESI, PT, payroll, and labour law compliances .
• Experience in finalization of accounts and audit support.
• Strong Excel skills with excellent attention to detail.
• Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
• Ability to independently manage multiple clients/entities.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Zoho Payroll and other Zoho applications.
• Exposure to ROC filings and MCA compliances .
• Experience working with startups, SMEs, and multi-entity structures.
• Prior experience reviewing the work of junior accountants or managing a small team.

Note: Only candidates with hands-on experience in Zoho Books, GST, TDS, Payroll, and Statutory Compliances will be considered.
