Syntax is a leading Managed Cloud Provider for mission critical enterprise applications, delivering ERP deployments (Oracle, SAP) across secure private/public/hybrid clouds. The Senior Analyst – Accounting will independently manage key areas of the financial close cycle and support global reporting from Mumbai (Hybrid).

The role requires 4–5 years in GL/R2R, strong IFRS/US GAAP knowledge, and ERP experience (SAP/Oracle). Collaboration with regional Controllers and audits will be frequent.

Qualifications

• Must have experience managing key areas of the financial close cycle.
• 4–5 years of GL, R2R, and month-end accounting in a Global setup.
• Strong knowledge of IFRS / US GAAP.
• ERP experience with SAP or Oracle preferred.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end month-end close deliverables.
• Review journal entries prepared by Analysts.
• Prepare P&L and Balance Sheet schedules with variance explanations.
• Drive balance sheet reconciliation quality.
• Ensure IFRS/US GAAP compliance and internal controls.
• Coordinate with regional Controllers for global close.
• Support audits through documentation and schedules.

About The Role

Required Qualifications

• B.Com / M.Com / MBA Finance / CA Inter preferred.
• 4–5 years in GL, R2R, and month-end accounting in a Global Set up.
• Good understanding of IFRS / US GAAP.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
• ERP experience (SAP / Oracle) preferred.
