Job summary

Consilio LLC is seeking an Accounting Manager to oversee day-to-day reporting for international locations including India. The role focuses on maintaining GAAP principles, leading the month-end close, and coordinating internal and external audits for a regional scope.

The ideal candidate will have CA qualification with 8–10 years of accounting experience, strong IFRS/USGAAP knowledge, and experience managing teams in a global setup. ERP experience with NetSuite is preferred.

Qualifications

• Chartered Accountant with 8–10 years related accounting experience; preferably 3–5 years public accounting experience.
• Strong understanding of IFRS / USGAAP.
• Experience in NetSuite ERP.
• Experience working in a global environment handling international entities.
• Accounting management experience in a high-volume, growing organization.

Responsibilities

• Manage monthly close process for allocated region to ensure timely and accurate reporting.
• Review monthly reconciliations with SOX 404 standards.
• Prepare monthly analytical reviews and variance analysis.
• Support global statutory audits and coordinate with other teams for timely audit closure.
• Collaborate with functions to ensure timely month-end close.
• Ensure policies and procedures comply with internal and external regulations.
• Support tax & legal teams on requirements.
• Communicate effectively across levels and functions.
• Use accounting concepts to solve complex issues.

Position Overview:

The Accounting Manager will be responsible for managing the day-to-day reporting for our international locations (including India), including developing and maintaining accounting principles, practices and procedures to ensure accurate and timely financial statements. This position requires adherence to tight deadlines and involves a variety of accounting activities including general ledger accounting, financial analysis and reporting, internal and external audit preparation and coordination for a specific region.

Responsibilities

• Manages monthly accounting close process to ensure timely and accurate reporting of all monthly accounting financial information for allocated region;
• Review account monthly accounts reconciliations in a manner that is consistent with SOX 404 standards
• Prepare monthly analytical reviews and variance analysis.
• Support global Statutory audits with other team members and coordinate with the internal business teams to deliver timely towards audit closure.
• Collaborating with functions to ensure timely month end close
• Responsible to ensure all business policies/ procedures are appropriate and timely updated and fully compliant with all internal/ external regulations and requirements.
• Ensure compliance with global accounting policy & accounting principles
• Support tax & legal team on requirements
• Effectively communicates across levels and functions of the organization;
• Uses professional accounting concepts and internal company policies to solve complex accounting issues;

Qualifications

• Chartered Accountant with 8-10 years related accounting experience; preferably 3-5 years public accounting experience;
• Strong understanding of IFRS / USGAAP
• Experience in working on NetSuite ERP preferred.
• Experience working in global environment and managing international entities experience preferred.
• Accounting management experience in a high volume, growing organization.
• Exceptional communication skills (oral, written, and presentation).
• Excellent interpersonal skills, organization skills, time management and prioritization skills required
• Experience in managing teams in global organizations, able to manage work volumes with effective delegation as well as be ready to roll up sleeves to get the tasks completed.
• Be a self-starter and able to handle assigned tasks effectively and independently.
• Exceptional project management skills with the ability to keep a team focused and manage an area with minimum oversight from Sr Manager. Proven ability to handle multiple projects and tasks
• Ability to manage, direct, and coordinate the staff to work and act with sense of urgency
• High analytical skills, responsive, self-motivated and results focused
