Job summary

Responsibilities

Job description

IBS is looking for senior accountant at Mumbai office:

• Day to Day accounting: day to day data entry and accounting with Taxation compliances of TDS and GST.
• Monthly closing: Own the month-end and year-end close processes, including general ledger maintenance, journal entries, and follow up for outstanding.
• Financial Reporting: Prepare accurate and timely financial statements, profit-and-loss reports, and variance analyses for senior management.
• Process Improvement: Review current financial procedures and recommend system or workflow optimizations to increase efficiency.

Qualifications and Requirements

• Education: Semi Qualified CA and Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance, or Economics (Masters or MBA is a plus).
• Experience: Minimum of 4 to 6 years of progressive accounting or finance experience.
• Technical Skills: Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUPs, pivot tables) and hands-on experience with ERP/accounting software (e.g., TALLY ERP, QuickBooks, XERO).
