Job summary

Clique Exports Pvt. Ltd. in Mumbai seeks an experienced Senior Accountant to join our finance team. The ideal candidate should have 7-10 years of accounting experience, with deep knowledge of GST compliance (GSTR-1, GSTR-3B), TDS, TCS, bank reconciliation, and auditing.

You will manage journal entries, financial statements, vendors, payroll, and close processes while coordinating with auditors and tax consultants. Strong Excel skills and excellent English communication are essential.

Qualifications

• Minimum 7-10 years of accounting experience.
• CA Firm experience preferred.
• Masters in Accounting/Finance or pursuing CA/ICWA; proficiency in GST, TDS, TCS and bank reconciliation.
• Five years' experience with intercompany transactions and audit preparation.
• Advanced MS Excel skills (VLOOKUPs, pivot tables).
• Strong English communication; detail-oriented.

Responsibilities

• Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records.
• Post journal entries and update financial statements; manage accounts receivable/payable and payroll.
• Handle day-to-day company accounts.
• Prepare and file GST returns (GSTR-1, GSTR-3B).
• Handle TDS and TCS compliance.
• Coordinate with auditors and tax consultants.
• Perform bank reconciliations and vendor ledger reconciliations.
• Assist with basic auditing tasks.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure data accuracy.
• Stay updated with tax regulation changes.
• Support month-end and year-end close processes.
• Develop and document accounting policies and internal controls.
• Provide input into department goal setting.

Key Responsibilities: Clique Exports Pvt Ltd is seeking an experienced Senior Accountant to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate should have a minimum of 7-10 years of accounting experience, with a strong grasp of financial regulations, including GSTR-1, GSTR-3B, TDS, RERA, TCS, bank reconciliation, vendor ledger reconciliation, and auditing knowledge.

Responsibilities:

• Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records.
• Posting journal entries, updating financial statements, maintaining accounts receivable and accounts payable, paying monthly payroll.
• Handle Day to Day Company Accounts.
• Prepare and file GST returns, including GSTR-1 and GSTR-3B.
• Handle TDS and TCS compliance.
• Coordinate with auditors, tax consultants, and external agencies as required.
• Perform bank reconciliations to ensure accuracy of financial transactions.
• Reconcile vendor ledgers and accounts payable.
• Assist with basic auditing tasks.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure financial data accuracy.
• Stay updated with changes in tax regulations and compliance requirements.
• Support month-end and year-end close process
• Develop and document business processes and accounting policies to maintain and strengthen internal controls.
• Provide input into departments goal setting process

Requirements:

• Minimum 7-10 years of accounting experience.
• Prior experience working in a CA Firm will be given preference
• Masters Degree in Accounting, Finance or relevant / Or Pursuing CA / ICWA. Proficiency in GSTR-1, GSTR-3B, TDS, TCS, and bank reconciliation.
• Five years' experience working with intercompany transactions and reconciliation in preparation for audit
• Advanced MS Excel skills including V-Lookups and pivot tables
• Basic auditing knowledge.
• Strong communication skills in English.
• Detail-oriented and organized
