Job summary

CFS, a growing healthcare-focused organization, is seeking a Senior Accountant to join the finance team. You will manage payroll for multiple entities and oversee month-end close, ensuring accurate financial records.

You will work closely with senior leadership, gain exposure across the medical group, surgery center, and hospital, and leverage Paycom and Multiview to streamline processes. A bachelor’s degree and 5+ years of experience are required, with public accounting and healthcare

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance.
• 5+ years accounting experience.
• Experience with payroll processing.
• Healthcare industry experience preferred.
• Public accounting experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage payroll processing for multiple entities and 300+ employees.
• Lead month-end close activities, journal entries, and account reconciliations.
• Perform bank reconciliations and maintain accurate financial records.
• Review accounts payable processes and support accounting operations.
• Serve as backup for accounting team functions as needed.
• Assist with year-end reporting, audits, and payroll-related compliance activities.
