Job summary

HTC Global Services, Inc. seeks a Senior Accountant in Chennai with 3–6 years of accounting experience. The role requires US GAAP knowledge and SOX awareness, and involves month-end close, journal entries, reconciliations, and intercompany accounting.

You will work in a hybrid setup with night shifts, supporting preparation of documentation for audits and quarterly reviews. Immediate joiners preferred; walk-in details follow the schedule.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting is required.
• Minimum 3+ years experience in accounting.
• Must apply knowledge of US GAAP and have basic SOX understanding.
• Experience with Netsuite, Brex and Blackline is a plus.
• Willingness to work in night shift and meet deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Participate in month-end close processes, including journal entries and account reconciliations.
• Analyze financial results to ensure accuracy of statements.
• Reconcile cash transactions daily in Netsuite.
• Review daily credit card transactions in Brex for proper GL coding.
• Perform Blackline admin tasks to assign roles.
• Investigate reporting discrepancies and communicate issues promptly.
• Prepare documentation for quarterly reviews, annual audit and SOX compliance.

About the Role:

We are seeking a Senior Accountant with minimum 3 year to maximum 6 years with skill set such as GL Accountant, Record to Report, Journal Entries, Bank reconciliation, Prepaid Expenses, Intercompany Accounting, US GAAP and General Ledger.

Requirements:

Responsibilities

You Will:

• Participate in month-end close processes, such as preparation of journal entries and account reconciliations
• Perform analytics over financial results to ensure completeness and accuracy of financial statements
• Reconcile cash transactions on a daily basis in Netsuite
• Review daily credit card transactions in Brex to ensure proper GL coding
• Perform Blackline administrative tasks to ensure roles and responsibilities are appropriately assigned to the correct team members
• Investigate reporting discrepancies and communicate issues as they occur in a timely manner
• Prepare supporting documentation for quarterly reviews, annual audit, and SOX compliance.

You Are:

• Minimum 3+ years of experience in accounting domain
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting required
• Able to apply knowledge of US GAAP, with a general understanding of SOX
• Self-motivated and able to work under pressure; dependable with deliverables and deadlines; able to multitask
• Confidence, good judgment, self-motivated, energy and personality to work in a fast-paced environment across all levels of management and across functions and geographies
