Job summary

Mellow Designs is seeking a Project Manager to join the management team in Bengaluru. You will onboard clients, manage them end-to-end, coordinate with the creative team, and ensure timely delivery of campaigns.

A strong design sense and excellent communication will help upsell services with compelling case studies. Role requires 5–7 years in agency/design/branding, a Bachelor’s in communication or any stream, and readiness to work a hybrid schedule (4 days in office, 1 day from home).

Job description

We are looking for a Project Manager to join our management team! Your main duty will be to onboard clients, manage them end-to-end and help them achieve their creative requirements. You need to have fantastic communication skills and good design sense to make our clients stand out by upselling our flagship services with the right case studies on their faces.

Qualification:

Should have agency/design/studio/marketing/branding/ad experience

Standard qualification: Bachelor’s in communication/any stream

Timings:

10:00 AM - 7:00 PM (Monday - Friday)

Job Type:

Full-time hybrid model (4 days in office, one day from home)

First 3 months would be the probation period

Duties and responsibilities:

• Build long-term relationships with clients
• Investigate and determine clients' wants and needs
• Communicating with clients and coordinating with the internal team for creatives
• Follow up with everyone till the earth stops rotating
• Manage the projects in ClickUp, maintain project roadmaps, coordinate with the creative team and get the clients’ requirements done within the deadlines
• Divide different creative works from different clients to the creative team and manage the workload-to-deadline ratio to maintain optimum utilisation of the resources
• Reporting performance of the creative team
• Analyse the effectiveness of digital campaigns
• Recommend digital hacks to increase their ROI
• Prepare and present reports on the project's progress
• Keep abreast with new trends in our industry and suggest improvements for our business
• Raise tickets if you observe any roadblocks in the company
• Get the design and marketing brief from the client and able to translate the brief to the creative team.
• Should have understood the entire design process end-to-end so as to guide the team and get the deliverables done.
• Manage the entire creative and design team and assign them tasks with proper work breakdown, and timelines and ultimately get the work done.
• Become a creative bridge between the client and the internal creative team.
• Assisting designers in setting up a brand language and designing its collaterals.
• Partner closely with the Creative Director to come up with creative concepts for advertising campaigns.
• Involve in the brainstorming process for brand-building activities in the design and marketing domain.
• Guide your internal creative team on the entire design process and get the work done smoothly without any roadblocks, by finding solutions and executing the projects within timelines.
• Adhere to style standards on fonts, colours, and images
• Visiting the client's place to plan the execution of the designs.
• Keep up to date with the latest trends. You should at least be following awwwards.com, Behance, creative bloq, etc. Sourcing custom & quality design references for the client should be a piece of cake for you.

Requirements:

• 5-7 years of working experience as a Client Servicing Manager in Advertising and Design Industry
• Excellent understanding and knowledge of dealing with the clients end-to-end
• Sense of ownership and pride in your performance and its impact on the company’s success
• Problem-solving skills
• Great interpersonal and communication skills
• Have fantastic exposure (or experience) in Graphic Design, UI Design, Packaging Design, Motion Design, Illustration Design, Typography, UX Research and all Design Principles.
• Someone who is based in Bangalore (or ready to move).
• Should have a ready laptop
• Team spirit; strong communication skills to collaborate with various stakeholders
• Design skills and knowledge

• You must work smart and save time for your research to develop new strategies.
• Clients don't know what they want; you need to recommend new ideas/plans constantly to clients.
• We will not tell you what to do; you have to come up with plans which will work for your client.
• You can't get irritated with calls. You must keep your cool and give a good vibe to the client on calls.
• If you can handle business development as well, then it's a cherry on top and a high incentive on your salary.
