Position Overview

We're seeking an ambitious Motion Designer to join our team. As a Motion Designer/Video Editor, you will work closely with our creative team to bring ideas to life through captivating animations, dynamic visuals, and engaging video content. This role offers a unique opportunity to gain hands‑on experience in a fast‑paced agency environment while working on exciting projects for a diverse range of clients.

As a Junior Video Editor, you will do end‑to‑end editing across performance marketing, social‑first content, long/short‑form YouTube videos, podcasts, and event coverage. You will also create motion graphics for product launches, campaigns, brand identity and ensure every output is adapted perfectly for each platform and format. Collaborate with brand designers to ensure consistency and polish.

Key Responsibilities

• Edit high‑performing ads for Meta, Google, and other digital platforms
• Create multiple variations of the same asset for A/B testing (hooks, pacing, captions,
• Adapt videos into different dimensions and placements (1:1, 4:5, 9:16, 16:9) while retaining clarity and performance
• Edit short‑form content for Instagram Reels, LinkedIn videos, and YouTube Shorts
• Deliver platform‑optimised versions with the right pacing, typography, subtitles, and format
• Convert long‑form edits into high‑retention shorts and snackable cut‑downs
• Edit long‑format videos for YouTube with strong narrative flow and viewer retention
• Build strong intros, mid‑roll pacing, sound design, and seamless transitions
• Create YouTube‑ready packaging support assets when needed (end screens, lower thirds, branded frames)
• Edit video and audio podcasts with clean pacing and high clarity
• Add multi‑cam cuts, jump cuts, graphics, captions, and audio cleanup basics
• Create short clips and highlights from podcasts for distribution
• Edit event coverage videos, recaps, and highlight reels
• Create multiple versions for internal and external use (short recap, detailed coverage, speaker clips)
• Create motion graphics for product launches, campaigns, brand identity, ensuring every output is adapted perfectly for each platform and format

Must‑have Skills and Requirements

• Strong sense of pacing, rhythm, sound design, typography, and visual composition
• Strong understanding of formats, platform best practices, and dimension adaptations
• Comfortable working in fast‑paced, high‑output environments
• Strong sense of colour grading footage (S‑log, RAW etc)
