Job summary

EcoRatings is looking for a detail-oriented Senior Accountant (Inter CA) to manage the company’s financial operations, reporting, compliance, and strategic planning in a fast-growing tech environment.

The candidate should have IPCC cleared, a Commerce degree, 4–7 years of accounting experience, and strong GST/TDS knowledge with proficiency in Tally, Zoho Books or QuickBooks. You will work with leadership to drive accurate financial insight and controls.

Qualifications

• Intermediate CA (IPCC cleared) – Mandatory.
• Bachelor’s degree in Commerce or related field.
• 4–7 years of relevant accounting experience.
• Proficiency in GST, TDS, and statutory compliance.
• Experience with startup or fast-paced environments is a plus.
• Proficiency in MS Excel.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day accounting operations including AP, AR, GL and bank reconciliations.
• Prepare and maintain monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements.
• Ensure GST, TDS and statutory compliance and filings.
• Coordinate internal and external audits with auditors.
• Monitor cash flow, budgeting and forecasting activities.
• Maintain documentation and accounting records.
• Support financial analysis and provide insights for decision-making.
• Manage payroll accounting and salary processing.
• Liaise with banks, vendors and internal stakeholders.
• Assist in improving financial processes and implementing controls.

Job Summary:

We are looking for a detail-oriented and experienced Senior Accountant (Inter CA) to manage and oversee the company’s financial operations. The ideal candidate will have strong accounting knowledge, hands-on experience in financial reporting, compliance, and the ability to work closely with leadership for strategic financial planning.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage day-to-day accounting operations including AP, AR, general ledger, and bank reconciliations
• Prepare and maintain accurate financial statements (monthly, quarterly, annual)
• Ensure compliance with statutory requirements including GST, TDS, Income Tax, and other regulatory filings
• Handle audits (internal and external) and coordinate with auditors
• Monitor cash flow, budgeting, and forecasting activities
• Maintain proper documentation and accounting records
• Support financial analysis and provide insights for decision-making
• Manage payroll accounting and ensure timely salary processing
• Liaise with banks, vendors, and internal stakeholders
• Assist in improving financial processes and implementing controls
