Dot9 Games is seeking a Senior 3D Artist in Mumbai to actively contribute to mobile game development. You will hand‑on in creating character models, shaders, lighting for environments, and ensuring models meet technical and artistic standards across the project.

The role requires a solid portfolio demonstrating 3D art skills in modeling, texturing, and lighting, plus experience with low‑poly assets and LOD optimization for mobile titles.

Formación

• Experience creating low-poly art for a shipped mobile game title.
• Solid portfolio demonstrating 3D art skills with modeling, texturing & lighting.
• Experience with LODs for performance for character and environment props.
• Expert knowledge of 3D pipelines and asset management.
• Familiarity with game development cycle.
• Familiarity with rigging.
• Experience using lighting to create a mood.
• Solid understanding of the Unity game engines.
• Knowledge of performance profiling and optimisation.
• 3D work for mobile based games shipped to Play Store and App store would be an added advantage.

Responsabilidades

• Create high quality final 3D models (both high poly/low poly), character elements.
• Creating shaders and lighting 3D environments.
• Verify the quality of objects in the game, and make improvements where necessary to fit technical constraints and artistic direction.
• Sculpt/model UV & texture meshes.
• Effectively collaborate and communicate with the team (Creative, Design, Tech and QA).
• Work with the Art Leads and fellow artists to create hard surface and organic style models while ensuring a consistent art style is maintained across the game.
• Maintain quality, efficiency and consistency across your work.

To continue building on our achievements for the future, we are on the lookout for a Senior 3D Artist for our growing studio in Mumbai. The role would include being hands on in the production of character models.

Responsibilities

• Create high quality final 3D models (both high poly/low poly), character
• Creating shader's and lighting 3D environments
