Job summary

PlaySimple Games in Bangalore North, India is seeking a Technical Artist to bridge artists and programmers on fast‑paced mobile games. You will contribute to creating animations and effects, optimise assets, and help shape the art pipeline.

Ideal candidates have up to 2 years of experience with engines and pipelines, hands-on work with Flash, Photoshop, Illustrator, and After Effects, and a mind for both artistic and technical workflows.

Qualifications

• 0-2 years of professional experience as a technical artist with knowledge of engines and art pipelines.
• Experience creating animations and effects for games using Particle Designer or After Effects.
• Strong Knowledge of Flash, Photoshop & Illustrator, Flutter, After effects & Spine is an added advantage.
• In-depth Knowledge of the Production Pipeline.
• Ability to proactively identify technical constraints while conceptualising and executing solutions through new tools.
• Knowledge and understanding of assets compression and optimisation with regards to multiple platforms (Cocos2D, Flutter).
• Develops generalised tools/techniques to help enhance the pipeline.
• A mind for both artistic and technical workflows.
