Job summary

Qualys in India’s Maharashtra region is seeking a Security Solutions Architect who blends deep technical expertise with business acumen. This role targets a trusted advisor capable of influencing technical strategy and delivering measurable outcomes across security, compliance and risk.

You will engage with enterprise customers to architect end-to-end security solutions, lead PoV engagements, and translate requirements into scalable deployment strategies.

Responsibilities

• Act as a strategic technical advisor to enterprise customers across vulnerability management, threat detection & response, compliance, and cloud/app security.
• Partner with Sales, TAMs, and customer stakeholders to drive technical wins and expansion opportunities.
• Architect end-to-end security solutions aligned to customer environments and business goals.
• Lead high-impact PoV engagements to demonstrate platform capabilities.
• Translate customer requirements into scalable architectures and deployment strategies.
• Identify gaps between current and desired security posture, and position solutions to bridge them.
• Deliver executive-level workshops, architecture sessions, and technical briefings.
• Create reusable assets such as reference architectures and onboarding playbooks.
• Collaborate with Product and Engineering teams to influence roadmap.

What You’ll Do

• Act as a strategic technical advisor to enterprise customers across vulnerability management, threat detection & response, compliance, and cloud/app security
• Partner with Sales, TAMs, and customer stakeholders to drive technical wins and expansion opportunities
• Architect end-to-end security solutions aligned to customer environments and business goals
• Lead high-impact Proof of Value (PoV) engagements to demonstrate platform capabilities
• Translate customer requirements into scalable architectures and deployment strategies
• Identify gaps between current and desired security posture, and position solutions to bridge them
• Deliver executive-level workshops, architecture sessions, and technical briefings
• Create reusable assets such as reference architectures, onboarding playbooks, and best practices
• Collaborate with Product and Engineering teams to influence roadmap based on field insights
• Stay ahead of evolving threats, technologies, and market trends

Technical Expertise (One or More Areas)

Infrastructure & Endpoint Security

• Vulnerability management, patching, asset discovery
• Policy compliance, configuration management
• Endpoint detection & response (EDR)

Cloud Security

• AWS / Azure / GCP architecture
• Cloud posture management, misconfigurations, and risk mitigation
• Identity, workload, and container security

Application Security

• SAST, DAST, API security
• Container security and DevSecOps practices
• Familiarity with OWASP and MITRE frameworks

Additional Experience

• Hands‑on experience with Qualys or similar platforms
• Understanding of industry standards (ISO, NIST, CIS, etc.)
• Ability to map security controls to compliance frameworks
• Experience influencing product direction through customer feedback
