Job summary

Jones Lang LaSalle Incorporated in Hyderabad on-site is seeking a Chief Security Officer to lead security planning, risk assessment and guarding strategies. You will coordinate with facilities and staff, maintain life safety readiness and update security policies while managing security budgets and ensuring effective communications with the security team.

Responsibilities

• Conduct security planning, risk assessment, and guarding strategies.
• Maintain standard operation of security services.
• Coordinate with DGM Facilities, Manager Technical and other building staff on security matters.
• Develop and maintain life safety and emergency preparedness plans.
• Update and enforce security policies and procedures.
• Ensure knowledge of current building fire and life safety code requirements.
• Communicate security concerns and staffing needs to management.
• Review after-hours security reports and monitor performance.
• Co-develop operating guidelines with management staff.
• Establish and maintain crime deterrent programs and project-specific procedures.
• Oversee and budget security operations.

JOB DESCRIPTION TITLE

CHIEF SECURITY OFFICER

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

• Perform Security Planning-Risk Assessment & Effective Guarding Strategies
• Ensure a standard operation of Security Service.
• Maintains on-going communications with DGM Facilities, Manager Technical and other building related services staff
• Gains/maintains proficiency with 's life safety system.
• Maintains and updates Security Policies and Procedures manual
• Maintains a working knowledge of all current building fire and life safety code requirements.
• Ensure an effective emergency preparedness plan (i.e. fire, evacuations human crisis, etc.) in place.
• Communicates with DGM Facilities regarding events, incidents, concerns of Security Team members, recommendations, staffing needs, etc.
• Reviews security after hours reports and monitors performance.
• Co-develops with the management staff operating guidelines and practices
• Establishes and updates project specific security procedures and crime deterrent programs.
• Implements and provides budgets relating to the and staff.
• Communication Maintain an effective command over Security team.

QUALIFICATION & EXPERIENCE

• Qualified degree holder with ample experience in armed forces at higher ranks.
• Ability to use logical and creative thought processes to develop solutions for short term and long term Security needs;
• Ability to communicate well with others, both orally and in writing.
• Ability to understand and follow oral and/or written policies, procedures and instructions;
