Job summary

Jones Lang LaSalle is seeking a Manager - Fire & Safety for on-site operations in Gurugram to lead fire safety across all sites and ensure alignment with client requirements.

You will develop and monitor the Fire Safety Management Plan, coordinate with authorities, train teams, run drills, review procedures, and report to senior management.

Responsibilities

• You will be responsible for Fire Safety of all the sites.
• You will be accountable for ensuring that all services are as per client’s requirements.
• Develop and monitor the Fire Safety Management Plan.
• Design the framework on how the Fire Safety Department will operate.
• Issue guidelines, design procedures and review/update them periodically.
• Determine appropriate solutions to significant fire risks as per assessments.
• Participate in fire risk assessment and incorporate findings into the Fire Safety Operations Manual or Fire Safety Management plan.
• Training and teaching others; develop coaching programs and train staff required for implementing Fire Safety Measures.
• Manage daily operations of Fire Safety centrally by assessing daily reporting.
• Coordinate with other departments for initiating and completion of Fire Safety Projects on sites.
• Present Fire Safety management performance to senior management.
• Coordinate and conduct Campus Evacuation Drills.
• Act as a Subject Matter Expert for all Fire Safety related matters.
• Maintain Fire Safety performance parameters and investigate incidents.
• Provide end-to-end support to stakeholders pertaining to fire safety matters.
• Implement all updates/directions issued by state fire service.
• Ensure Fire safety management plan is current and up to date.
• Establish liaison with the State fire service and other authorities responsible for Fire Safety functions.
• Demonstrate leadership, build teams and drive improvements in fire risk controls.
• Exceed customer satisfaction by delivering services above expectations.
• Communicate with fire team, peers and subordinates by telephone, email or in person.
• Ensure implementation of new initiatives/best practices to improve efficiency and service levels across sites.
• Attend meetings and training to stay current on fire safety principles and developments.
• Ensure timely MIS submissions and responses to occupant concerns and meeting minutes.
• Support JLL by sharing leads from sites and participating in initiatives.
• Demonstrate training tool usage for self-development and foster a culture of appreciation.
• Take part in JLL initiatives like D&I, CSR, Safety Week and align with company values.
• Any other task assigned by management time to time.

• He is part of fire risk assessment and is responsible for incorporating findings in Fire Safety Operations Manual or Fire Safety Management plan.
• Training and Teaching Others : Identifying the educational needs of others, developing formal coaching or training programs or classes, and training or instructing others required for implementing Fire Safety Measures.
• Managing Daily Operations of Fire Safety centrally by assessing daily reporting.
• Managing day-to-day operations, ensuring the quality, standards and meeting the expectations of the management on a daily basis.
• Coordinate with other departments for initiating and completion of Fire Safety Projects on sites.
• Effectively presenting the Fire Safety management performance to senior management.
• Coordinating and conducting the Campus Evacuation Drills.
• Acts as a Subject Matter Expert for all Fire Safety Related matters.
• Maintains the Fire Safety performance parameters and ensures investigations of Fire Related incidents.
• Provides End to End support to all stakeholders pertaining to fire safety matters.

• Communicating with fire team, peers and subordinates – providing information to Managers, Officers, co-workers and subordinates by telephone, in written form, E Mail or in person.
• Ensure implementation of new initiative/ best practices to improve efficiency and enhance service levels across all sites.
• Attends meetings, conferences, workshops and training sessions and reviews publications and audio-visual materials to become and remain current on the principles, practices and new developments.
• Ensure timely submission of MIS and related report to respective stakeholder.
• Ensure timely response on mails, occupant concern resolution and minute of meeting circulation.
• Support JLL emerging business by sharing the leads of works taken up at the sites.
• Demonstrate usage of training tool for self-development.
• Inculcate the culture of appreciation.
• Take part and drive JLL initiatives like D&I, CSR, Safety Week etc.
• Imbibe JLL culture and values.
• Any other task / responsibility assigned by the management time to time.
