Profile Solution in Mumbai/Wada/Rabale is seeking a Head of Security to lead security operations across the factory, head office and Rabale Plant, safeguarding employees, visitors, assets and premises. You will implement CCTV surveillance, access control and new security initiatives while coordinating with cross-functional teams.

• Establish and monitor security SOPs, gate procedures and emergency protocols; conduct audits.
• Oversee CCTV surveillance, system maintenance and incident reporting; investigate security incidents.
• Manage access control, vendor coordination, and coordination with Stores/Logistics/Admin teams.
• Lead security improvement initiatives, mock drills and emergency preparedness exercises.

Job Description – Head of Security

Position: Head of Security
Department: Administration & Security
Location: Mumbai / Wada / Rabale – Maharashtra
Experience: 8–15 years in Security Management, preferably in a manufacturing/industrial environment
Reporting To: Management / Head – Administration

Job Purpose

To lead and manage the overall security operations across the company’s Factory, Head Office and Rabale Plant, ensuring the safety of employees, visitors, assets, materials and premises. The role will also be responsible for strengthening security systems, CCTV surveillance, access control and implementing new security initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

Security Operations

• Take complete ownership of security operations across the Wada Factory, Head Office and Rabale Plant.
• Supervise security guards, supervisors and security agencies across all locations.
• Ensure proper security at all entry/exit gates, visitor areas, material gates and sensitive zones.
• Establish and monitor security SOPs, gate procedures and emergency protocols.
• Conduct regular security audits and identify vulnerabilities.
• Maintain proper records of incidents, visitors, vehicles, material movement and security checks.

CCTV & Surveillance

• Take overall responsibility for CCTV surveillance and monitoring across all locations.
• Ensure CCTV cameras are functional, properly positioned and covering critical areas.
• Coordinate with IT/technical teams for CCTV maintenance, storage, connectivity and system upgrades.
• Regularly review CCTV footage and investigate suspicious activities or security incidents.
• Maintain CCTV monitoring and incident-reporting procedures.

Access Control & Gate Management

• Implement effective employee, visitor, contractor and vehicle access-control systems.
• Ensure proper checking of incoming/outgoing materials and vehicles.
• Strengthen gate-pass and material movement procedures.
• Monitor unauthorized access, theft risks and suspicious movements.
• Ensure proper coordination between security and Stores/Logistics/Admin teams.

Security Initiatives & Improvements

• Identify security gaps and proactively introduce new security initiatives and preventive measures.
• Develop and implement security SOPs and checklists.
• Introduce technology-based security solutions wherever required.
• Conduct regular mock drills and emergency preparedness exercises.
• Develop security awareness programs for employees.
• Implement periodic security inspections and surprise checks.
• Prepare security improvement plans for all locations.

Incident & Emergency Management

• Lead investigation of theft, unauthorized access, misconduct, security breaches and other incidents.
• Coordinate with management, HR, Admin, EHS and local authorities when required.
• Ensure emergency response procedures are clearly defined and implemented.
• Maintain incident reports and recommend corrective/preventive actions.

Team & Vendor Management

• Manage security manpower planning, deployment, shifts and attendance.
• Monitor performance of outsourced security agencies.
• Conduct regular briefings and training for security personnel.
• Ensure guards are properly trained in access control, emergency response, fire safety and basic first aid.
• Review security agency performance and compliance.

• Knowledge of modern CCTV, access-control, visitor-management and surveillance technologies is desirable.
