Job summary

Linxon in Chennai, India, seeks a skilled Security Engineer to strengthen cloud and IT infrastructure security and governance. The role blends cloud security with core IT controls, including IAM, PAM, SSO, and incident management.

You will implement controls, manage PKI/credentials, coordinate with SOC, and ensure compliance with ISO 27001, SOC 2, and CSA standards. Opportunity to shape a growing security program.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, information security, or related field.
• 5–7 years of hands-on cyber security experience in cloud and IT infrastructure environments.
• Strong understanding of security standards (ISO 27001, SOC2, CSA) in cloud/IT.
• Knowledge of security assessments (VA/PT, Red Team).
• Good knowledge of SIEM and Azure tools; Azure certification is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Implement and operate security controls in Cloud/IT environments.
• End-to-End cloud security posture management.
• Maintain IAM/PAM security controls and access governance.
• PAM account management, credential vaulting, session monitoring.
• Manage security in Azure authentication federation.
• Security patch management reviews.
• Access certification and user entitlement reviews.
• Develop and maintain infrastructure security documentation.
• Coordinate with SOC for asset integration with SIEM and troubleshooting.

What will you do?

We are seeking a skilled and hands-on Security Engineer to support and strengthen cloud and IT Infrastructure security and governance. This role is a blend of cloud and core IT security controls management operations. Experience in "Identify and Access Management (IAM), Privilege Access Management (PAM), Single-Sign-On (SSO), Log Management, Incident Management Access Governance, Patch Management and Endpoint Security"

Responsibilities

• Implement and operate various security controls in the Cloud / IT Infrastructure environments, and security focus areas.
• End-to-End cloud security posture management
• Implementing, Maintaining security controls in IAM/PAM environments
• PAM Account Management, Monitoring Credential Vaulting & Session Monitoring
• Managing security in Azure authentication federation.
• Security Patch Management Reviews.
• Perform Access Certification and User Entitlement Reviews.
• Develop and Maintain Infrastructure Security Documentation
• Co-ordinate with SOC team for asset integration with SIEM tool, monitoring and troubleshooting.
• Co-ordinate for various security assessments.
• Security posture and trend reports preparation.

Experience, Education And Other Required

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Security, or related field.
• 5–7 years of hands-on experience in Cyber security in Cloud & IT Infrastructure environments
• Strong understanding of various security & compliance standards (ISO 27001, SOC2, CSA) in cloud and IT environments
• Knowledge of various security assessments (VA/PT, Red Team)
• Good knowledge of SIEM and Cloud (Azure)tools.
• Any cloud (Azure) / technical security certification is plus.
