Job summary

Ericsson Mobile Financial Services (MFS) in Gurgaon is seeking an experienced IT security professional to join the Operations team. You will protect mission-critical financial services by investigating incidents, monitoring events, and improving security posture.

The role covers cloud security, SIEM rule tuning, Linux/Kubernetes hardening, and working with global teams to ensure SLAs and KPIs are met. A strong background in security standards and scripting is preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science, Information Security, or related field.
• Minimum 5 years of IT security experience, preferably in a SOC/NOC or service operations environment.
• Strong hands‑on expertise in Linux and Kubernetes; Docker knowledge and container security.
• Experience with SIEM, vulnerability management, security auditing, cryptography, and HSM.
• Knowledge of cloud security operations, preferably AWS, including IAM and security posture management.
• Understanding of SSL/TLS, PKI, certificate management, TCP/IP, and network security.
• Familiarity with PCI DSS, CIS, NIST, ISO security standards.
• Scripting in Shell, Python, or Ansible is an advantage.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, documentation, and communication skills; collaborative and customer‑focused.
• Experience in financial services, mobile commerce, online banking, ITIL‑based service operations is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Investigate and respond to escalated security incidents, conduct threat hunting, and root cause analysis.
• Monitor and correlate security events using SIEM, EDR, firewalls, IDS/IPS, and other security tools.
• Develop and fine‑tune SIEM detection rules and investigate suspicious activities and threats.
• Secure cloud environments through configuration reviews, hardening, IAM governance, vulnerability management, CSPM remediation.
• Manage security controls for Linux and Kubernetes environments, including access management and certificates.
• Troubleshoot security and operational issues, support patching, upgrades, and maintenance.
• Coordinate incident bridges, communicate progress to stakeholders, and ensure compliance with customer SLAs and KPIs.
• Participate in shift-based operations and collaborate with global teams to maintain service availability and security.

The skills you bring:
