Job Description

Support senior security personnel in monitoring network traic and identifying potential security threats or vulnerabilities.

• Provide support in responding to security incidents by assisting in investigations and implementing prescribed measures under supervision.
• Assist in the implementation and maintenance of security measures for network devices, including rewalls, routers, switches, and intrusion detection/prevention systems.
• Perform networking and vulnerability scanning assessments
• Install and support security software and tools like anti-virus tools, rewalls, systems and patch management
• Establish and analyze security requirements for existing networks in your organization
• Participate in training sessions and workshops to enhance awareness of security best practices and protocols.
• Contribute to promoting a culture of security consciousness within the organization
• Collaborate with the security team and other relevant departments to gain exposure to various aspects of network security.

Requirements

Education

Bachelors degree in computer science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or related eld.

5 years of experience in IT security or system/network administration.

Technical Skills

• Managing rewalls, VPN, Antivirus, VAPT, SIEM, Patch Management
• Prociency in conguring and managing security tools and technologies (e.g., SIEM, rewalls, VPNs).
• Knowledge of TCP/IP, LAN/WAN, DNS, and networking protocols.
• Familiarity with scripting languages (e.g., PowerShell, Python) is a plus.
