Job summary

Qualifications

• Diploma in Chemical field or equivalent.
• Bachelor of Science in Chemistry (B.Sc.).
• Experience with raw material handling and QMS procedures.

Responsibilities

• Ensure consistent quality, traceability and controlled handling of all incoming raw materials.
• Support HoD Quality to ensure smooth RM Handling operations.
• Responsible for sampling, testing and evaluation of incoming materials per SOPs.
• Identify quality deviations and initiate corrective actions.
• Oversee unloading, stacking, segregation and storage to prevent contamination.
• Enforce FIFO for clinker, gypsum, fly ash and additives.
• Monitor yard, hopper and silo conditions from a quality perspective.
• Coordinate with Production and Maintenance for stable grinding with minimal quality variation.
• Monitor reclaiming, feeding and conveying systems affecting material consistency.
• Support internal audits and statutory inspections for RM Handling.
• Ensure accurate documentation and reporting of receipts, consumption, test results and trends.
• Ensure adherence to safety standards during unloading and handling.
• Promote dust control, waste minimization and carbon reduction initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Overall responsibility to ensure consistent quality, traceability, and controlled handling of all incoming raw materials (Clinker, Fly Ash, Gypsum, Additives etc) in line with organization’s QMS Policy, BIS standards and sustainability objectives.
