Job summary

Tata Consultancy Services in Hyderabad, India is seeking a Senior QA Engineer / SDET with 6+ years of experience to drive end-to-end testing, build automation for RESTful APIs, and ensure quality across the backend stack.

You will collaborate with cross-functional teams in Agile environments, write maintainable test code in Python and Java, and use Jira, Confluence, Bamboo and Git to plan, execute and monitor testing activities.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of experience as Software QA Engineer / SDET.
• Experience in Systems Integration and End-to-End testing.
• Strong programming/scripting in Python and Java.
• Strong foundation in Object-Oriented Design and scripting.
• Expertise in designing automation frameworks for RESTful API services.
• Understanding of software architecture, databases, APIs and backend stack.
• Ability to estimate testing scope, plan, execute and monitor testing activities.
• Experience preparing test data for validation and system integration flows.
• Ability to learn new technologies, build frameworks, and deliver clean, maintainable code.
• Experience with ALM tools such as JIRA, Confluence, Bamboo, Git.
• Experience in Agile environments with cross-functional teams.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
