Job summary

Nx Dt is seeking a QA Automation Engineer with 5–8 years of testing experience, focused on automation and functional testing in Hyderabad, India. The role requires hands-on Selenium with Java, API testing, and strong SQL skills to validate databases and data integrity.

The candidate will work in an Agile environment, collaborate with developers, and contribute to test planning, design, and execution. Familiarity with CI/CD tools and performance testing is a plus.

Qualifications

• 5 to 8 years of total QA experience with a strong focus on automation and functional testing.
• Proven hands-on experience in Selenium with Core Java (ability to write code and develop test scripts).
• Experience with API testing tools such as Postman or Rest Assured.
• Proficient in SQL and database testing (e.g., MySQL, Oracle, SQL Server).
• Hands-on experience with version control systems like Git.
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
• Exposure to performance testing tools (e.g., JMeter).
• Nice to Have: Experience with BDD tools like Cucumber and CI/CD tools like Jenkins, Bamboo, or GitHub Actions.
