Job summary

Tata Consultancy Services is seeking an experienced SDET in Hyderabad to drive test automation for complex applications. The role requires hands-on coding in Python or Java and strong experience with Selenium, PyTest, and JUnit/TestNG.

You will work across API and UI tests, contribute to CI/CD, and ensure robust test coverage in cloud environments. Responsibilities include building reusable test scripts, API testing with Postman and Rest Assured, and collaborating with development and operations

Qualifications

• Strong programming skills in Python or Java.

Total Experience > 6 Years with Years of relevant Experience

• Expertise in Writing clean, efficient, and reusable code for test automation using programming languages such as Python or Java.
• Hands-on experience with test automation frameworks

(e.g., Py-test, Selenium, JUnit/TestNG).

• Experience with BDD frameworks

(e.g., Cucumber, Behave).

• Knowledge of API testing tools

(e.g., Postman, Rest Assured).

• Proven experience with at least one major Cloud Platform (AWS, Azure, or GCP) priority requirement.
• Familiarity with CI/CD tools and version control systems (e.g., Git).

• Experience with performance testing tools

(e.g., JMeter, Gatling).

• Knowledge of containerization technologies

(e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).

• Exposure security testing and test data management.
