Job summary

Seventh Contact Hiring Solutions is seeking an SDET to design, deploy, and maintain automated test frameworks using Python, collaborating with developers and QE leads to ensure robust test coverage.

You will execute both manual and automated tests, analyze results, and report defects while performing non-functional testing to guarantee system reliability and scalability. Experience with CI/CD and cloud basics is preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science/EC Engineering or related field.
• 3+ years of experience as an SDET with strong test automation focus.
• Proficiency in Python programming language.
• In-depth understanding of Linux/Unix operating systems.
• Experience with test automation frameworks such as Ansible, Selenium, pytest, Robot Framework or similar.
• Familiarity with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI, Zoho Sprints.
• Strong troubleshooting, problem solving and attention to detail.
• Excellent written and verbal communication and collaboration skills.
• Knowledge of version control systems (Git).
• Experience with Docker and cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP) is a plus.

Required Qualifications

• 3 yr+ Proven experience as an SDET or similar role, with a strong focus on test automation.
• Proficiency in Python programming language.
• In-depth understanding of Linux/Unix operating systems.
• Experience with test automation frameworks such as Ansible, Selenium, pytest, Robot Framework, or similar.
• Familiarity with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI, Zoho Sprints.
• Strong troubleshooting, problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent written & verbal communication and collaboration skills.
• Knowledge of version control systems (e.g., Git).
• Experience with containerization technologies like Docker is a plus.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP) is an advantage.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with performance testing tools such as JMeter or eqvt.
• Knowledge of scripting languages like Bash or Perl.
• Understanding of network protocols and web technologies (TCP-IP, HTTP/s, REST, etc.).
• Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
