Job description

We are looking for an experienced and highly skilled SDET Architect to lead the design, implementation, and evolution of enterprise-scale test automation frameworks. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in automation architecture, CI/CD integration, quality engineering practices, and mentoring QA teams in building robust automation solutions.

This role requires close collaboration with development, DevOps, product, and QA teams to ensure high-quality software delivery through scalable and maintainable automation strategies.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and implement enterprise-level test automation architecture and frameworks.
• Define automation strategies for UI, API, integration, and end-to-end testing.
• Drive automation best practices, coding standards, and quality engineering processes.
• Integrate automated test suites into CI/CD pipelines.
• Collaborate with developers, architects, and DevOps teams to improve release quality and velocity.
• Evaluate and recommend tools, frameworks, and technologies for automation initiatives.
• Conduct code reviews and ensure maintainability of automation scripts.
• Lead root cause analysis of production defects and quality issues.
• Mentor and guide SDETs, QA Engineers, and Automation Leads.
• Establish quality metrics, reporting dashboards, and test governance processes.

Required Skills & Experience

Technical Skills

• QA/Testing experience with significant experience in Automation Testing.
• Strong experience in designing and implementing automation frameworks from scratch.
• Expertise in one or more programming languages:
  • Java
  • Python
  • JavaScript/TypeScript
• Strong hands‑on experience with:
  • Selenium
  • Playwright
  • Cypress
  • REST Assured/Postman
• Experience in API, Microservices, and Integration Testing.
• Strong understanding of Test Design Patterns and Automation Architecture.
• Experience with CI/CD tools such as:
  • Jenkins
  • GitHub Actions
  • GitLab CI/CD
  • Azure DevOps
• Knowledge of containerization and cloud platforms:

• Strong SQL and database testing experience.

• Experience mentoring and leading distributed QA teams.

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• Relevant certifications in automation, cloud, or DevOps are a plus.
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
• Prior experience with enterprise product or platform testing.
