Job summary

Blitz is seeking a detail-oriented SDET-1 with 1-2 years of automation experience to build and maintain test automation for Web, Mobile, and APIs in a fast-paced startup environment.

You will design regression suites, log defects, collaborate with developers to reproduce issues, and contribute to CI/CD pipelines to improve release quality and speed. You will analyze results, ensure coverage, and advocate best practices in quality engineering.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science / IT / Engineering
• 1-2 years of experience in QA Automation / SDET role
• Proficiency in Java or Python
• Experience with Selenium / Playwright / Appium
• Hands-on API testing (Postman / REST APIs)
• Familiarity with CI/CD tools like Jenkins
• Experience with Git and Agile methodologies

Role Overview

We are looking for a skilled and detail-oriented SDET-1 with 1-2 years of experience in automation and quality engineering. You will be responsible for building and maintaining automated test frameworks across web, mobile, and APIs, while ensuring high product quality in a fast-paced, scalable environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts for Web, Mobile, and APIs
• Execute regression, integration, and end-to-end test suites

Basic Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science / IT / Engineering
• 1-2 years of experience in QA Automation / SDET role
• Strong understanding of Software Testing concepts and SDLC
• Proficiency in at least one programming language (Java or Python preferred)
• Experience with automation tools like Selenium / Playwright / Appium
• Hands-on experience in API testing (Postman / REST APIs)
• Familiarity with CI/CD tools like Jenkins
• Experience with version control systems like Git
• Good understanding of Agile methodologies
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

Good to Have

• Experience in building or contributing to automation frameworks
• Knowledge of SQL and database validation
• Exposure to performance or load testing tools
• Experience with test reporting tools (Allure, Extent, etc.)
• Familiarity with cloud platforms or test infrastructure
