Newton School of Technology (NST) seeks a Software Development Engineer (SDE) + Associate Instructor – Full Stack Development to join our Computer Science Department. This role suits engineers with 2-4 years of industry experience who are passionate about software development and mentoring the next generation.

You will deliver hands-on sessions, run coding labs, and guide students in building real-world applications, while collaborating with senior faculty and industry partners to keep content

Qualifications

• 2–4 years of professional experience as a Software Developer/Engineer in application programming.
• Strong understanding of OOP, data structures, low-level design, algorithms, and software design principles.
• Familiarity with application frameworks, APIs, and deployment basics.
• Ability to explain technical concepts in a simple, engaging manner to students.
• Flexibility to teach foundational computer science subjects when needed.

Responsibilities

• Course Development & Delivery: Teach and support modules on Full stack development, including OOPs, Data Structures, Algorithms, and Software Engineering concepts.
• Student Mentorship: Assist students in projects, debugging, coding best practices, and application design.
• Collaboration: Work with senior faculty, industry partners, and curriculum teams to keep content aligned with industry standards.
• Student Success: Provide feedback, evaluate assignments, and help students become job‑ready engineers.
