Job summary

Groww is hiring an experienced Android developer to build and scale high-quality apps used by millions of users. You will own features from design to production, drive architecture decisions, and collaborate across product, design, backend, and data teams.

The role demands strong Kotlin/Android SDK skills, modern architecture knowledge, and a track record with large-scale mobile products. The candidate should be proficient with Jetpack components, Coroutines, Kotlin Flow, and REST networking.

Qualifications

• 5–7 years of experience building Android applications.
• Strong proficiency in Kotlin and Android SDK.
• Strong understanding of Android architecture, lifecycle, concurrency, memory management, and performance.
• Hands-on experience with Jetpack, Coroutines, Kotlin Flow, ViewModel, Room, and WorkManager.
• Strong understanding of REST APIs, networking, Retrofit/OkHttp, and asynchronous programming.
• Experience building large-scale, consumer-facing mobile applications.
• Strong understanding of design patterns, data structures, algorithms, and clean architecture.
• Experience with modular, maintainable, and testable codebases.
• Experience debugging and solving production performance, stability, and scalability issues.
• Strong ownership, problem-solving, and communication skills.
