Job summary

Quantbot in Hyderabad is seeking a backend engineer to drive end-to-end feature delivery and own critical microservices. You will design, deploy, and maintain scalable architectures with SLAs for performance and reliability.

The role requires hands-on cloud deployment (AWS/Azure/GCP), strong SQL/NoSQL skills, and daily use of observability tools. You will mentor junior engineers and collaborate with cross-functional teams to raise engineering standards.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of backend development experience (Node.js / Java / Django).
• Strong experience designing, developing, and owning production-grade microservices.
• Strong SQL + NoSQL expertise (schema design, indexing, performance tuning).
• Hands-on cloud deployment ownership (AWS/Azure/GCP).
• Daily use of observability tools (Sentry/Datadog/CloudWatch/New Relic).
• Comfortable with LLD & HLD system design.
• Uses AI tools (Copilot/Cursor/ChatGPT/Claude) as a genuine productivity multiplier.
