Job summary

BU Consultants in Bengaluru is seeking a skilled SDE-2 to design, build, and scale high-performance applications, owning modules and mentoring engineers across the full stack.

The role requires 4–6 years of software development, expertise in Java 8, Spring Boot, React.js, and cloud basics. You'll lead system design discussions and collaborate with product, QA, DevOps, and UI teams to deliver robust features.

Qualifications

• 4–6 years of strong software development experience.
• Proficiency in Java (Java 8), Spring Boot, backend development.
• Strong experience with React.js, HTML5, CSS3, and modern JavaScript.
• Knowledge of system design concepts and scalable architectures.
• Experience with microservices and REST APIs.
• Familiarity with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitHub Actions).
• Experience with Docker and Kubernetes is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop scalable web applications using Java/Spring Boot and React.
• Lead system design discussions for new and existing platforms.
• Build RESTful APIs and microservices.

About the Rol

We are looking for a highly skilledSDE–2 to design, build, and scale high-performance applications. You will own complex modules, contribute to architectural decisions, and mentor junior engineers while working across the full tech stack

Key Responsibilitie

• Work closely with product, QA, DevOps, and UI teams across the development lifecycle

• Perform code reviews and mentor junior and mid-level engineers
• Identify performance bottlenecks and optimize applications for scalability and reliability
• Contribute to CI/CD pipeline improvements and production deployments
• Own end-to-end delivery of features from design to deployment
