Job summary

BU Consultants is seeking an SDE-2 to design, build, and scale high-performance applications in Hyderabad and Bengaluru. You will own complex modules, drive architectural decisions, and mentor junior engineers while working across the full tech stack.

Responsibilities include building RESTful APIs, leading system design, and delivering features end-to-end. A strong background in Java/Spring Boot, React, and distributed systems is required.

Qualifications

• 4–6 years of software development experience.
• Strong hands-on expertise in Java (8+) and backend development.
• Strong experience with React.js, HTML5, CSS3, and modern JavaScript (ES6+).
• Deep understanding of system design concepts including scalable architecture, distributed systems, high availability, caching, and load balancing.
• Experience with Microservices architecture and REST APIs.
• Good knowledge of databases (SQL/NoSQL: MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, etc.).
• Knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS/GCP/Azure preferred).
• Strong understanding of data structures and algorithms.
• Familiarity with CI/CD tools like Jenkins and GitHub Actions.
• Experience with Docker and Kubernetes is a plus.
